As part of the official trip, a research visit was also made to CEIGRAM (Centro de Estudios e Investigación para la Gestión de Riesgos Agrarios y Medioambientales), Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, one of the leading European research centers specialized in the analysis and management of risks in the agricultural and food sector. A special focus of CEIGRAM's research work is focused on the impacts of climate change, weather extremes and uncertainty on the sustainability and resilience of agri-food systems.
