Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ivana Štulec is an Associate Professor at the Department of Trade and International Business at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Zagreb. She has been researching the problem of weather risk in trade and the economy for over fifteen years. She is co-author of two university textbooks, one scientific book, and nine book chapters, and has solely and collaboratively published more than 50 scientific articles in the fields of international business, commodity exchanges, weather risk management, supply chain management, and consumer behaviour. For her outstanding solely scientific work in the field of weather risk management, she received the “Mijo Mirković” Award from the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Zagreb in 2017, and the Annual Award of the Society of University Teachers and Other Scientists in Zagreb for Young Scientists and Artists in 2010. For co-authored works, she received the Faculty of Economics and Business – Zagreb Award in 2024, as well as the prestigious international “2019 Emerald Literati Award: Outstanding Paper.” Notable published scientific papers in the project field:
